Beverly Miller

Long ago and in a land far, far away, a stunningly beautiful babe was born. So beautiful was she that few could even look upon her face without weeping.

( SCREECHING TIRES)

Opps that is not quite true. It was long ago and far away, in Texas, but I am not so sure about the stunningly beautiful part!

So Bev was born and raised in Texas. Became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1973. Married Steve Miller in 1976 a week after he graduated Law School. ( She's no dummy.)  They moved back to California where Steve grew up and have 2 daughters and one grand daughter.

Bev worked as a nurse at St Josephs Hospital from 1976 til 1999, retiring with a Medical disability. ( No, it wasn't Mental, contrary to popular belief.)

She has enjoyed many hobbies over the years. Her first sewing memory was at about age 10, making Yo -Yo's with her Grandmother, and sewing them into a doll blanket. Since then there have been so many. Embroidery, crochet, cross - stitch, crewel work, Candle making, rock collecting and Wire Wrapping stones, general crafts, Glass fusing, stained glass, wire jewelry and beaded jewelry, genealogy, gardening.

Current obsessions are: quilting, beading, Keeping hubby happy, genealogy and teaching young people to sew and quilt.

Long term objective: Stay out of all Mental Institutions. Just a thought.
